I hope you will join me for John’s Porch this Sunday morning, November 27th, from ten until noon as we take a day of leisure from the themes and just listen to artists that I’m grateful to play. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday – arguing across the dinner table while eating amazing food.

Henry Cook and I hope you will join us on Time For The Blues this Saturday night, November 26th, at 9:00 for one of our signature shows, “Hot Leftovers!” This is the show we do after the Thanksgiving holiday that features great music that we haven’t had a chance to play until now.

I sincerely hope you will join me this Sunday morning, November 20th, from 10:00 until noon on John’s Porch as we examine music for the soul. I firmly believe that all music emanates from the soul, but more obviously with certain songs. The first hour is chock full of those songs and I’ve got several that I think you’re going to enjoy.

I have a lot of fun works ready for you as we celebrate the birthday of a person whose invention changed the sounds of classical music, jazz, rhythm and blues, blues, and rock and roll.

Kevin’s specialty is guitarists who “shred,” and I’ll leave it to him to explain that more thoroughly on the show.
