JAMinc Presents
We're excited to present all our first season of JAMinc Presents programs that originally aired in the fall of 2023 for on-demand streaming. Since the pandemic, we've been partnering with other Richmond-area venues beyond In Your Ear's Studio A, including the Tin Pan, Hardywood Craft Brewing and the Canal Club among others, to bring our listeners a broader offering of live performances recorded here in RVA.

Eric BantaNew York City based Loboko features young Congolese vocalist and guitar virtuoso Yohni Djungu Sungu, alongside Soukouss-Stars legend and master bassist, Ngouma Lokito. The group is rounded out by drummer and co-founder Morgan Greenstreet.

JAMincTony Furtado was turning heads as a hot banjo player back in the 1980s, winning the prestigious national championship at Winfield Kansas in 1987 just out of his teens.

JAMincMany discovered Howard Levy’s mastery of the harmonica with the disbanding of bluegrass pathfinders New Grass Revival, and their adventurous banjo player Béla Fleck.

JAMincPresented in the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, this was much more than a concert…it was a loving theatrical tribute to the earthly music of the late John Denver played in his memory and that of Frank Fuller, the father of the three siblings who dreamt up the whole ambitious production.
